This new decal sheet from Fightertown Decals includes markings for 2 different 1/48 F-18C's with VFA-94 Mighty Shrikes.  

There is a long list of people that helped on this sheet including Mike Pister, VFA Command and Corrosion Control shops, LT Taylor, Dan Teker and John Voss.  Well done Guys!!!  

The 2 aircraft include one CAG jet in hi-viz markings and 1 CO line jet in lo-viz markings. 

• F/A-18C VFA-94 Mighty Shrikes CAG Flame jet Hobo 400 BuNo164227 in Apr 2008 at NAS Lemoore.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with reddish orange highlights including flames on the leaning edges under the wings and flames on the front of the fuel tank.

• F/A-18C VFA-94 Mighty Shrikes CO Line jet Hobo 401 BuNo164253 in Apr 2008 at NAS Lemoore.  Markings are the lo-viz dark gray markings.

The instructions are clear and include multiply views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets with 1 insert decal sheet and include landing gear and ejection seat decals.  Plus 2 sets of formation lights and a set of data markings. The quality of the decals is first rate. 

I had a big grin across my face when I saw the flame job on a Hornet......that will be quite the eye popping jet when it is built.
