This latest release from Aires features a Mistel 1 conversion set version 2 set for the Hasegawa kit.  This set is for the Mistel 1 version that mates a Ju 88A-4 and Bf 109F-4.  

Other Mistel versions  were as follows:

Mistel 1 Ju 88A-4 and Bf 109F-4
Mistel 2 Ju 88G-l and Fw 190A-8 or F-8
Mistel 3A Ju 88A-4 and Fw 190A-8
Mistel 3B Ju 88H-4 and Fw 190A-8
Mistel 3C Ju 88G-10 and Fw 190F-8
Mistel 4 Ju 287 and Me 262. 
Mistel 5 Arado E 377A and He 162.

This detail set includes;

• Nose warhead for the Ju-88

• Braces between the Ju-88 and the Bf-109F-4 fighter plane sitting piggyback above the Ju-88.

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  The set is simple to use and the 2 pages of instructions are very clear.  Be aware some of the parts are very delicate, so be very gentle with them.

I've always had a huge fascination with the Mistel concept.  One of my favourites is the Version 1 as it used the BF-109, which is my favourite piston engined Luftwaffe fighter from WW2.  This set is complete and will be much appreciated by modellers interested in adding a Mistel Version 1 to their display case.
