The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  The level of detail is very inclusive and seems to capture all the detail perfectly.  You will be required to remove the sidewall detail from the kit parts before you fit the resin side walls in this set.  If you want to pose the cockpit door in the open position to show the cockpit detail better, then you will need to cut the door from the resin sidewall and also cut the cockpit door from the kit fuselage.  Probably doing away with the kit sidewall door and use using the resin sidewall door would be the best approach if you plan to display the door in the open position.   To use both parts would probably give you a door that would be too thick.

The Spitfire is a very popular plane with modellers and this set gives you all you need to improve upon the Hasegawa kit cockpit.

You can purchase this and other fine resin detail items directly from Aires or from the many retailers that carry their products.  A list of some of those retailers can be found here.
