This latest release from Aires features a complete resin and photo etch cockpit for the Spitfire Mk.XIVc from Academy. 

This detail set includes;

• Resin sidewalls, floor, framing structures behind the seat and seat

• Instrument panel in resin

• Acetate panels for the instrument panel

• Photo Etch panels for the instrument panel

• Small resin bits to detail the cockpit 

• Photo etch detail parts including seatbelts and other small detail parts

• You get photo etch seat belts to pose any way you please

• The gunsight has Photo etch sides with a clear acetate center glass.

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  The Spitfire has plenty of detail on the sidewalls that responds beautifully to painting, shading and washes.  One nice feature is the door on the  left side wall is a separate resin piece permitting you to pose the door in the open position to show off all the gorgeous detail in the cockpit.  And yes, the resin door does include the breaker bar. 

The Spitfire has a beautiful cockpit full of detail and with the door and canopy open you can see plenty of that detail.  This cockpit set is rich and detail and will be a lovely addition to your next 1/48 Academy Spitfire Mk.XIVc.
