Here's your chance to own one of 4 very attractive F-15 Eagles.  The four F-15's featured on this decal sheet all have attractive features.  All of these F-15A's are with the 58th TFTW out of Luke AFB, AZ and one has eye catching black and white Candy Cane stripes on the wings and forward fuselage.  The black and white stripes are included as decals.  The other 3 F-15's have false canopies and very attractive 3 tone gray "Ferris" camo schemes that existed at Luke AFB during this same time period.

These aircraft were painted in these Candy Cane markings to make them more visible while training pilots in Air Combat Maneuvering (ACM) when they were being trained in the Eagle.

The aircraft are the following:

  • TF-F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 73-0112 with the 58th TFTW, 555th TFTS out of Luke AFB, AZ, Dec 1975.

  • TF-F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 74-0110 with the 58th TFTW, 555th TFTS out of Luke AFB, AZ, May 1976.

  • TF-F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 74-0089 with the 58th TFTW, 461st TFTS out of Luke AFB, AZ, July 1976.

  • F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 73-0111 with the 58th TFTW, 555th TFTS out of Luke AFB, AZ, November 1976.

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets.  Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics.   There is a notation on the decal sheet telling you which ejection seat to use if you build these F-15.

The references for this decal sheet were kindly provided by Jim Rotramel and this sheet wouldn't have been possible without Jim's help.

The F-15 has always been a great looking jet and the addition of these black and white Candy Cane stripes as well as the "Ferris" scheme jets will give you the option of building one of the coolest F-15's for your next model show.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.
