With the release of
the Twobobs 1/48 Buckeye kit with the Navy Trainer markings, they decided to
give the 1/72 builders a chance to build the same bright orange and white Navy
Buckeyes. This decal sheet set comes with markings for five different aircraft with enough stencils for two complete jets.
This sheet is a scaled down version of the Twobobs 1/48 Navy Buckeye decal releases and kit decals in 1/48th scale.
With the re-release via Revell of the Matchbox kit, these markings are just in time for your 72nd scale Buckeye.
Although these jets may all look the same there are subtle differences as they
come from VT-4 Warbucks,
VT-9 Tigers,
VT-10 Wildcats
and the USN Test Pilot School,
so there is different tail art, fuselage bands and variations in the color of
the leading edge of the tail.

The instructions are clear and
include 4 views of each aircraft. The decals are beautifully printed on 1
decal sheet. Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM,
Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics.
There's no doubt these bright
dayglo paint schemes look great on the Buckeye
and this sheet captures an
excellent variety of these dayglo orange aircraft.
For me these are the best looking Buckeyes........but I've always been partial
to the white and Dayglo Orange paint schemes.....don't know why
This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/
and select US Hobby Shops. Overseas customers can purchase these from
Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.
