This latest release from SBS Model features a complete resin and photo etch cockpit for the MiG-19PM from Trumpeter.

This detail set includes;

  • Resin cockpit tub and 1 ejection seat

  • Instrument panel in resin with gauge detail on the backside of the instrument panel

  • Acetate panels for the instrument panel

  • Photo Etch panels for the instrument panel

  • Small resin bits to detail the cockpit including a control stick

  • Photo etch detail parts including seatbelts, canopy frames and much more

  • You get photo etch seat belts to pose any way you please

  • The HUD has Photo etch frame with a clear acetate center glass and a resin base.

The cockpit base is separate from the sidewalls and the rear wall of the cockpit behind the ejection seat.  Having the separate sidewalls, separate instrument panel and separate panel behind the ejection seat will permit you to paint each part then combine them into a very detailed cockpit set.  This will make painting and detailing so much easier.

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free. The level of detail is very well done and very crisp.  The 2 pages of line drawing instructions are very easy to understand.

SBS Model did a wonderful job on this cockpit set and the large number of parts will combine to give your MiG-19 a very pleasing level of detail in the cockpit.

You can purchase this and other fine resin detail items directly from SBS Model or from the many retailers that carry their products.

Steve
