This new decal sheet
from IsraDecal
includes
markings for your choice of any F-15I Ra'am operated by 69th Squadron "The Hammers Squadron".
The IAF currently has 25 F-15I in their inventory
an this sheets gives you the option to build the Hammer Squadron F-15I with or
without the large eagle artwork on the tail fins. You also have the
further option to build the F-15I operated by 'Manat', which is the IAF's Test
and Evaluation Unit.
The
decals are contained on 2 sheets.....the first sheets contains tail art and a
massive number of tiny stencils and the second sheet includes more and more
stencils. You get 2 serial numbers for the numbers from 1-9 permitting you
to mix and match to create the F-15I of your choice. The stencils are very
inclusive and even include weapon pylon stencils. Now to help you install
all these stencils without getting cross eyed and frustrated.....the stencils
are grouped into slightly larger decals, so as you apply one decal , you're
actually applying 4 or 5 or 25 tiny stencils on one go. This is a
brilliant solution as the IAF has a passion for stencils on their aircraft and
grouping the stencils on larger decals makes it much easier.
The
F-15I is the IAF's Strike eagle and is similar to the USAF's F-15E with some
special mods for the F-15I and these decals are designed to fit the Revell and
Academy kits.

The 8 pages of instructions are clear and include 4 color views of each
aircraft to help you get the very complicated and colorful camo scheme correct
on your F-15I and let's face it......the IAF operates some of the most colorful
F-15's on the planet. The paint codes in the instruction booklet as
FS#'s. The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets. The
instruction book contains all you need to get your F-15I looking perfect.
I was very excited
to see this decal sheet as the F-15I has long been a favorite jet of mine with
it's wild camo scheme and large bold tail art. This sheet is sure to be a
popular seller and I look forward to seeing some F-15I's built using this sheet.
I would like to
thank IsraDecal
for providing me with this
review sample.
