This detail set from Aires features all the resin  radio equipment for the P-40B Warhawk from Airfix.

There are 8 parts in all.....plus you will need to source some wire.

You install this set inside the rear fuselage and then cut open the access door so you can peek in and see the radio equipment inside the radio compartment.  The more keen modeler would add an LED to light up the inside of the radio compartment to show off all this wonderful added detail.

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  The 2 pages of instructions include line drawings to show you where everything goes.  You will need to thin the side of the fuselage around the radio compartment access door and you will need to cut the door out of the fuselage to replace it with a resin door.  There is a resin part the goes around the door opening once you finish thinning the fuselage plastic around the door opening.  A Dremel is ideal for thinning plastic provided you dial down the speed.

This is a beautifully detail set that will add that perfect extra bit of detailing to your Airfix P-40B Warhawk.

You can purchase this and other fine resin detail items directly from Aires or from the many retailers that carry their products.

I would like to thank Aires for providing me with this product sample.
