This photo is an actual midair accident that occurred in December at the Plant City, Florida, Municipal Airport that occurred when the pilot of the Piper (the top plane) neglected to notice the Cessna in a pattern for Touch and Go's.  The biggest horror?  The Cessna was carrying an Instructor and a student - the student was practicing Touch n Go's.  No one was injured.  And in even better news, the Student recently passed her checkride (Yes, she actually DID get in a plane again after that!) and is a real pilot now.  The pilot of the Piper... unknown.
