Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween happens on Oct 31 every year.  Nov 1 is "All Saints Day" and Halloween is the evening before.  "Halloween"....comes from "Hallowed Eve" or "Holy Eve" or the "Evening before the Holy Day".  On Halloween the evil spirits are supposed to roam the Earth and go door to door tormenting people.  Instead....young children dress up and go door to door asking for Candy (almost the same thing to some people).  They are dressed in costumes....sometimes as witches, or ghosts or favourite TV show characters and after they ring the door bell and the door is opened they all shout "Trick or Treat".  The home owner then puts candy in the children's "Halloween bag" and the kids go to the next house.  For adults there are usually costume parties the weekend before at the various night clubs.
