Our Me 262B-1a arrived Sept 5th via 2 flat bed trucks in many pieces, looking very much like a life sized model kit!!! Each airframe sub component was cocooned in bubble wrap. It took us about a week to reassemble the major structure. I then did some paint work to correct some inaccuracies in the markings. This plane can be viewed at theDelaware Valley Historical Aircraft Association.

|Instrument panel of Me 262 B-1a||The upper inboard spent shell casing extraction chute has been temporarily removed to reveal the MK 108 30 mm Canon detail.||The original tires show a build date of 1944! Note the wood main gear door attached to the strut and the circular (cylindrical) cockpit tub bottom.|
