Mark Jahsan has not the best opinion of the 1/48 Fonderie Miniatures Dornier Do-24.  But it is a rare plane and in the hands of a skilled and determined modeler like Mark, it does build up into a big impressive model as you'll see in Mark's photos.

  Uganda Independence Day

Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs These Eurofighter photos were taken by Wally Van Winkle.

I've added a link to Stormo Decals to the ARC Manufacturers links page.  They focus on decals for mostly Italian aircraft.  So if you're into those complicated Italian camo schemes from WW2, then you should check them out.

Burt Gustafson gets things going today with his sharp looking 1/72 Hasegawa F-14B Tomcat.  Burt gave his F-14 a full weapons load to give it some teeth and finished it off in Jolly Rogers Final Cruise markings.  I never tire seeing Jolly Rogers F-14's......beautifully done Burt.

Rafi Ben-Shahar has done a wonderful job weathering his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures SB2U-3 Vindicator.  Rafi found this kit to be less of a joy to build than the other Accurate Miniatures kits, but he still turned out a darn fine looking Vindicator with all the careful weathering Rafi is well known for.

Paolo Yuen is here with something different today.  This is his 1/700 Hasegawa Akagi done up with a full load of planes and extra detail include tiny crew members.  This carrier was part of the Pearl Harbor attack and was sunk in the Battle of Midway.

Leonard Prakasam is here with his article honouring the Indian Air Force.  This is Leonard's 1/48 Academy Mig-21MF dressed up with an Aires resin cockpit and scratchbuilt details and finished it off with a great looking camo scheme and Indian Air Force markings.  Originally posted yesterday, but was added to the update later in the day.

Frank Daniels has put much effort into adding scratchbuilt detail to his 1/48 DML Fokker E.V.  You've got to have a close look at the laminated wooden prop and the scratchbuilding in the cockpit is a work of art.

Don Bryans is here with a very special 1/72 Revell Handley-Page Halifax.  This aircraft crashed on a mission during WW2 and Don has placed a small piece of the original aircraft in his model.  The nose is the Aeroclub 'Z' nose and Don has made it possible to swap the nose with another version.

Arifdhani has done an exceptionally nice job on his 1/48 Academy SU-30.  Arifdhani  did a very fine job shading the panel lines.  The markings are from HI-decal and this Su-30 wears the markings for the Indonesian Air Force.

Gabriel Stern is here with a milestone.  This is his 100th article on the Internet.  This is his Scratch-built 1/72 Arnoux Simplex Racer -1922 which is an odd little plane  and I know you'll get a kick out of seeing it.

Dan McWilliams dropped by today with his 1/48 Fujimi CF-5D.  Dan knows this jet from first hand experience and he put some very successful effort into creating this bare metal beauty with added cockpit detail.

Mark L. Rossmann has taken an older model of the 1/48 Monogram B-25J-11 and redone the markings from a sheet he had in his collection.  Mark picked a B-25 loaded with gun from 1945 with very nice results.

Dragan Cvetic is here with his 1/72 Italeri MiG-23 ML.  Dragon added extra cockpit detail and rescribed the panel lines and finished it off in Yugoslavian markings with quite the sharp looking 3 colour camo scheme.
