This is Tamiya's 1/32 F-16C "Thunderbirds" kit, backdated to a block 25 aircraft of the 144th FW in California.

I started this build a few years back, intending to build it as a Desert Storm bird from Shaw AFB.  That was the first paint job... the second was another jet from the 144th, and the THIRD paintjob is the one you see here.  It was painted with Tamiya acrylics, custom mixed to the right colors.  This (along with many other details) was made so much easier by my primary reference for the build, "The Modern Viper Guide" by ARC's own Jake Melampy.  I can't say enough about his books!  Built mostly OOB with details scratchbuilt from wire and card, like the wiring on the landing gear legs and a few cockpit details.

All in all a great kit, made more difficult by myself than it had to be.  I already have another on the workbench, a block 50 SEAD aircraft from Shaw AFB.
