The painting was done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics.
Upper surfaces are painted to Olive drab with medium green blotches on tail and wing.
The underside is painted to Neutral grey as usual. Note replacement cowl panel with shark eye and the radio hatch. Possibly the upper cowl has damaged and replaced from an another Warhawk with sharkmounth scheme.
The decals are from Eagle Srike “Birds of Prey Warhawks and Kittyhawks Part 1” # 48147.
Other modifications are:
-
Ultracast #48153 P-40 E/N Flared exhausts
-
Ultracast #48157 P-40N Wheels (27” light weight diamond tread)
-
Sliding canopy from Squadron.
It's finished after some weathering and a matt coat from Gunze Sangyo.
Happy Modelling
