1/48 Hasegawa F-4E Phantom #167

This is a Hasegawa F-4E with Eduard photoetch in the cockpit. Resin seats a metal nose probe and resin strike camera from Wolfpack resin. This creates a current style of South Korean F-4E still making smoke and noise over the skies, but I am sure not for too much longer.

The Wolfpak camera fits in the little holes that would otherwise be the catapult hooks or blanking plates in the Hasegawa kit. Also comes with a nice new main gear door which includes a couple little antenna. Odds are you can easily make these mods yourself but the resin was cheap and seemed like a good idea at the time. All three parts are simple to use and do the job nicely.

Kit decals were used, the fuselage national markings are a little dark but apart from that Hasegawa seemed to have made almost as good markings as most after market companies are coming out with. Still........ its one marking any of ARCs common after market guys could do a great job on. This is my 167th Phantom. Think I will build something different before my next Phantom fix.
