1/32 Tamiya Spitfire MkIXc - Free French Force

This is my 1/32 Tamiya Spitire MkIXc in the markings of a Spitfire flown by Captain Georges Valentin of the GC II/7 (French "Armée de l'Air"), based in Corsica in September 1943.

I already have an 1/32 Azur Dewoitine D-520 from the same squadron in 1940 during the Battle of France and wearing the same "black panther on her flanks". So, I found it interesting to continue with this sort of "focused approach"..

A very pleasant build of one of the best models I have assembled so far.

Then, painting a dusty plane wearing the tropical RAF scheme and unusual markings seemed to me the obvious choice to go for, in order to escape the more boring continental green and greys options.

Enjoy the photos...
