One of the first F-104Gs delivered to Italian Air Force during the early '60s. The white/bare metal livery was soon changed into the classic NATO green/grey camo. As those Starfighers were meant to carry nukes as well, the white paint had the purpose to provide some kind of protection from nuclear heat wave.
