My present plane is the Arado Blitzer “Revelllation”, a combination of the 1:72 wings, engines and rotors of an Revell Osprey with the 1:48 hull and tailplanes of an Revell Arado Blitz.

Maybe the Blitzer is so named because of the flashes of its two Stuka guns underneath.

The plane was painted overall with Humbrol 64 light gray and the wriggles were painted with Humbrol 30 dark green. The rotors were painted with Humbrol 91 blackgreen.

The holes for the radar antennas which were not used were closed with glue.

The Arado Blizer was the first plane to use the helicopter close support tactics which became later so common with the Apaches and other close support helicopters.

Greetings from M.A.D.
