The C-47 was the 1st major aircraft inducted in to the fledgling Indian Air Force, with the 12th squadron getting these aircraft in 1945. It went on to serve the Indian Air Force for the next decades.

It is a 1:144 Roden kit, and pretty good for a small scale model. Build was easy and there were no fit issues other than the small gap at the wing root.

Mr.Surfacer Black was used as primer and Mr.Metal Aluminium was used to paint the model. Other than the roundel and finflash the decals were self made . Roundel and finflash decals are from brightspark.

Over all a enjoyable weekend build.

Wishing every one a Happy Indian Independence Day, Jai Hind.
