Released in 2015 and a relatively good kit but still a Revell kit. Engine section is cramped, as a result all the cowlings has fit issues which required a lot of massaging with clamps and exchange of a lot pleasant words during the build stage. Long story short even if the builder doesn't want to display the engine open he still has to tackle these issues for the entire front section has to be built around the big huge BMW radial engine and it's associated support structure. One must study the instruction sheet very carefully and plan the build, sticking to the order of things given by Revell would most likely cause a lot more issues with the engine bay and general fit of the fuselage.

Cockpit is barely passable. The IP is ok since the real subject is tidy too but the side consoles are given only as decals which is disappointing.

Painting is done with Gunze, Tamiya and Vallejo Model Color acrylics by a combination of paint masks, rolls of tac and freehand for different parts of the camo. Weathering is via the usual oil paints followed by water color pencils for light paint scratches and modelling pigments about the wheels for dust.

Kit is built OOB however I scratched the brake lines on the MLG from stretched q-tips, radio aerials are from transparent sewing thread and the 'tika decals on the tail are raided from the spare decals box and are probably wrong for a 190; they are usually a bit larger and without the white lining when compared to 109s.

Enjoy.
