Gulf War III - Saddam's Return

The Director's Cut

Silly Week 2005

Following the collapse of the special relationship between the UK and the United States, due to the UK's reluctance to join the US in Gulf War III, Prime Minister Charles Kennedy would not commit any forces to deposing Saddam Hussain again by commenting "...Tony Blair sent Great Britain to war during the last Middle Eastern conflict; I will not make that mistake...".

The US was forced to seek new European allies, and France took a leading role. As part of this new collaboration, the French and the United States aerospace industries joined forces, and as a result the F-18/R (RAFALE), was born.

OK it's the Revell 1/48 RAFALE built straight out of the box but without the canards fitted and finished off with 1/48 Aeromaster F-18 Decals.
