With the failure of the Eurofighter, and the cost prohibitions of the F-22, The German luftwaffe again turns its eyes east. Wanting a suitable replacement for there F-4's and Tornados, the Germans went directly to the Su-37. This making them the first official customers for the aircraft. A deal was struck to build the aircraft in Germany with a very large service and maint contract awarded to the design team. This money has allowed the team to continue with its work on Russians Fifth generation fighter concepts. The Luftwaffe has ordered about 45 aircraft as of today, with potential for another 50.

The Kit: Well, it's grainy surface was the biggest draw back, the fit was not that bad. I used whatever decals I had laying around after discussing the Idea with some friends. The paint was model masters again what I had laying around. I hope you get a good laugh, as we all did here.
