Lets Get R' Done with an AMT Moonscope

Silly Week 2006

Ok, so I got this really weird idea one night. Maybe it was the Fernando's and the choco crunch ice cream kicking in, but looking at that oddball Moonscope kit, I had this REALLY freaky idea.....what IF  it was a four wheeling LSU-lovin' hunting rig????? And so, Get R' Done was born!

I mulled what a serious crossbow hunter would want on his four wheeling rig, and it came to mind--a massive brush bumper to keep the weeds offa' those massive high-floatation tires with a heavy duty winch to pull your drenched butt outta' the skeeter and gator-infested swamps. Ammo and commo are taken care of with twin ammo
bays up in the front hull and a dual-band radio for keepin' track of the old lady on her four wheeler and listening in on the Tigers latest play.  A custom-built compound crossbow is securely fastened into a custom rack behind the twin hunter-killer seats and extra ammo for the 'bow is secured in a long tube on the driver side.    Oh, and lest I forget the special accoutrement on the aft end near the water propulsion jets........no, that isn't a funny looking hitch gone awry, that is a folding toilet seat for "goin' on the go!"

Plain old OD wouldn't do for the Get R' Done, so a roll of Mossy Oak brand camouflage tape was used to give the beast its' distinctive color.  LSU colors highlight the rig with Purple and Gold shock covers and LSU antenna ball. I built the gearshift console with incorporated 8 track player (LSU FIGHT SONG and Marching Band Tapes) for when the going gets really rough.
I really enjoyed getting the kit filthy, and Japanese Army Grey acrylic dusted on by airbrush and flicked on with a toothbrush fit the bill!   And the base....couldn't be simpler.....just a plaque base coated with Fleckstone and Italian Seasoning from the kitchen.

Any questions???? If not, then let's Get R' Done!
