1/32 Bolkow Bo-105 "Hornisse"

It took almost two years from start to finish, but I guess it was worth it. This Revell kit, like many others, is very sparse. Almost the entire interior was made from scratch or was heavily modified. I tried to catch the magic of looking real, by adding as much interior and as many details as possible. The wipers, balance weights and door handles are just a few of those that make a difference. Painting was not a problem. The most nerve wrecking were the decals. I had to correct the cracks in many places, because no decal softener worked on them.

I used the Eduard WWII seat straps, and the seats were covered with a very fine fabric. A lot of wire was used for comm connections and instrument input cables, a block of lead for the battery, a very fine net for intake protection, the rest is all from plastic sheet. Some day I'll upgrade it with TOW rockets, but not just yet, as my nerves have to get back online. I hope you like it.
