This is a very nice kit that fits well and doesn't cost much, you get 3 decal options and a four part opening canopy. I built it out of box including the 'Aleutian Tiger' decals, not a very original subject I know (seems like everyone builds that), but I wanted to have one in my collection.

The only problem I encountered is that you need patience to mask and paint all those small window frames. Tamiya tape was used for that. It seemed hard to open the canopy without problems. If you want to open it you might have to test fit, sand and scrape a bit on the inside but mine was already painted and therefore I left it closed.

The nose decals needed some work to get down but the usual micro set and sol did well. A few smaller stencils silvered a bit. You might want to invest in an aftermarket decal to go safe here.

Painting was done with Revell enamels and a panel wash with oils and thinner. A bit of drybrushing and metallic spots here and there. The gun and exhaust streaks were done with pastels, not dry but mixed with thinner and then brushed on.

I finally added an antennae from stretched sprue. All together it was a fine experience and not too much work either.
