It's been two long
years since I've built an aircraft. Going back to my wings, I chose this since
it is a two in one kit; A small one for a refresher course, and another regular
sized plane. This is Tamiya's Gloster Meteor F1 with V1 Fieseler F103 kit in
1/48 scale. The quality of the kit is superb with little or less sanding and
filling. Both the aircraft and the flying bomb were painted using enamels and
oils for wash. The dolly for the flying bomb is primed, but left unpainted.
Instead of preshading the kit, I've applied multiple coats of the same, but
lighter shade to achieve the same effect.
Instead of using
the supplied decal seatbelts, I scratched mine using aluminum foil |

Before I even started on my
Meteor, I first worked on this flying bomb for it is an easier plane to work
with. The construction only took me around 2 hours including sanding and a few
filling. I didn't paint the dolly because it'll take me longer to finish it :)
