A very fine model just
crying out for more detail, especially the cockpit and the front end.
The aircraft I am
depicting is RF-D serial EN 951 with Donald Duck on the port side, belonging to
Polish Squadron Leader Jan Zumbach of 303 Squadron RAF back in September 1942.
This model has been
extensively detailed as one can see from the photos of the build. A new cockpit
tub has been scratch built as the original is very bare, so are parts of the
engine, radio bay, oil tank, entry door and much more.

The propeller,
spinner and seat have been replaced by resin ones from Cutting Edge. The
placards in the cockpit come from Waldron, and harness from MDC. Other
materials used are brass tubing, copper wire and aluminum plate. Paint is
by Testors and Humbrol.
