This is the 1/48 Italeri
kit with some swapping of parts from the Gunship ACH47C kit, needed here was
the swapping of the rotor blades as the blades in the "C" kit are
incorrect for an Australian version. The rotor blades in the Gunship kit fix this
problem with some minor corrections to the end of the blades. The next hurdle was
the engines again which were incorrect in the kit, this was fixed by a mate of
mine here in OZ who produces a very nice interior and exterior set to produce
the final version in the RAAF scheme. Kit decals were used with some minor
correction to the the colour of the Boomerangs on the tail markings as these
were a light brown compared to being black in the kit markings.

Again the entire
model was built with superglue as with my last post, paints were Gunzye acrylics,
Future for the Decals (excellent product from the USA) and a final
coat of Lifecolour Flat Finish. I used the Eduard prepainted photoetch set for
the cockpit, but you can't see any of it.
All in all an enjoyable kit to build.
Hope you enjoy
