Here's my second
model on ARC, my first one was the 1/72 F-16 General Dynamics by Tamiya. I would say
that this kit is quite a good one from Academy. The fit of the parts were good,
little putty was required for seamlines, except occasional height problems.
Again, this kit was built OOB, no aftermarket details were used, everything is
used from the kit, including the decals.
I planned to build this
model simple, cockpit was sprayed black, drybrushed silver on the instrument
panels (results were excellent). This kit contained many tiny and thin parts, so
care must be taken so as to not break or lose them, but I lost some parts in the
progress...

Painting was mainly done using
industrial spray paint. Colors used were Dark Green for the main body, Flat Black
for rotors, and Silver. Some areas were also handpainted with Gunze Aqueous
Acrylic Paint (Burnt Iron), like the gun at the bottom, and the engine rear
area. I then masked the canopy again and coated the whole model with flat top
coat.
Decals were quite thick, needing a
fair amount of decal softener for them to conform to the model's details/panel lines.
For this build, I only used a few decals, I did not want the model to look to
fanciful.
I like the outcome of this model, I
hope you like it too. =D
