I used
the 1/72 MPM Junkers W 43 short-run injection kit
(first issue;
No.72110; 1994 year) for my
D-34 project.
I
built the D-34 mainly out of box. I added and modified several parts
(undercarriage legs, interior, fuselage windows, exhaust tubes etc). I used
Agama colours (spirits) for painting and "APC
Decals" decals set
(no.72012) for fuselage code and
Czechoslovak national marking on rudder. Czechoslovak national markings on
the wings are from spare decals (1/48 HiPM Pe-2FT), code on wing upper surface is home
made APLS print (thank you Miro).
Czechoslovak
AF used one D-34 (Junkers W 34hi, W.Nr.3165) from 1945 to 1952. Real D-34
“BZ-3“ served as communications and transport aircraft in Command section of
4th Air Division, Czechoslovak Air Force based at Trenčín
airfield in 1947.
