Shortly
after the battle of Endor, the death of the Emperor, and the loss of not only
the 2nd Death Star, but of a large portion of the Imperial Fleet.
The
significantly smaller Imperial Fleet was looking at getting rid of some of the
equipment that they had left on their hands gathering dust.
Several
Good Ole Boys in the Dantooine system, started to pick up a few “Surplus”
items. Their attempts at taking a TIE Fighter and using it for kinrath
hunting ended in a fireball ancient Crystal
Cave. Which subsequently lead to their deportation from that world and there banning
in perpetuity.
They
decided to try something more down to Dagobah. Scavenging enough credits they
purchased several “Slightly used AT-AT’s from a local “Collector of all
things Imperial” and set out to build something that would allow them to have
fun as well as travel from tapcafe to tapcafe…

AMT/ERTL
has been popping out the plastic of these kits for many many years, and some of
them really show their age.
This
is the Star Wars AT-AT with a few extra parts and some creative thoughts added
to it. I always thought the AT-AT was a cool looking vehicle. And I had that
monster truck lying around, and my curiosity got the better of me, and I could
keep making excuses for why my brain misfired the way it did… Maybe I
need more coffee….
Guitar
strings, creative painting and a few greebles make this an interesting build.
As
well as working on the best way to … Set it for a couple of Good Ole Boys…
I
was inspired by a picture of the Millennium Falcon done as the General Lee, and
thought that was funny and this was the result…
Hope
you enjoy and thanks for looking
Oh

May
the force be with you
