With the recent release of
the big 1/32 Tamiya, Twobobs has been busy giving modellers some great
looking markings to dress up their Big Mouth F-16. This sheet
includes the markings for two different Block 50 Vipers from Shaw AFB.
The F-16's include a
tiger scheme jet and a MiG-29 killer from the Kosovo conflict.
The first jet is a Tiger
scheme Shaw big mouth F-16 plane #79. The markings for this jet
are from Operation Southern Watch in the Spring of 2002. The
markings on this F-16 caught my eye......I've got a soft spot for tiger
markings. There is a big Black Tigers head on the tail and well as
a black and yellow Tigers stripe at the top of the vertical stab.
Also included is a yellow Tigers head decal for the big exhaust cover if
you choose to go this route.
There is a jet #77, but
this isn't included on this decal sheet.....a bit of a printing error on
the instruction sheet.
The next jet is a F-16 that scored a kill against
a MiG-29 during the Kosovo conflict, which was the first MiG kill by a
USAF F-16. Details of this story are included on the back side of this
instruction sheet. You can actually dress up
this particular more than one way depending if you want to include the
Mig kill markings on your F-16......although I can imagine anyone
building this bird and not using the MiG-kill markings.
