Although the previously issued decal set in 1/72 scale by this Czech manufacturer was numbered RD 72-007, this new set is numbered RD 72-011 and features 5 options for Allied Fighters.

  • 1. N.A. P-51D Mustang, 4th FS, 52nd FG based at Madna 1944, flown by Lt. William Parent.

  • 2. N.A. Mustang Mk.III, 3 Sqn. RAAF, from Fano 1944 

  • 3. Supermarine Spitfire F Mk.VIII, 32 Sqn. RAF from Foggia, 1944

  • 4. Republic P-47D Thunderbolt (razorback), 317th FS, 325th FG (The Checkertail Clan) from San Pancrazio, March 1944 flown by pilot Warren F. Penney. This aircraft features 2 kill markings.

  • 5. Republic P-47D Thunderbolt (bubble top), 345th FS, 350th FG from Pisa, April 1945 was flown by several different pilots.

 

 

Complete instruction sheet is printed in color with English instructions and clearly shows all the decal placements. Lists all the suggested Camouflage Colors (Gunze range), all used references and also suggested kit manufacturers.

So, if your interest is an ETO - you can use this decal sheet for 5 different aircraft!

The decals are printed in high quality and even the smallest signs (names etc.) are very crisp.
