--------------------

This new 1/72 decal sheet from Wolfpak Decals includes markings for a F-4D, F-102 and two different F-15's.

The first aircraft is a F-4D 60-267 with 555th TFS, 8th TFW in Ubon AFB Thailand in Sept 1972 flown by Capt John Madden.   The paint scheme for this aircraft is a South East Asia camo scheme (Green/Green/Brown) with the text "Miss Martha" on the nose.  Capt John Madden flew this aircraft on Sept 9 1972 when he downed 2 enemy Mig-19's (the 1st and 2nd kills of the war for him).  His back seater was Capt Chuck DeBellevue and those 2 kills were his 5th and 6th making him the leading American Ace of the Vietnam War.

The second aircraft is a F-15A 73-091 with 555th TFTS, 58th TFTW at Luke AFB, Arizona in 1974.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is the Air Superiority Blue paint scheme.

The third aircraft is a F-15A 73-100 with 555th TFTS, 58th TFTW at Luke AFB, Arizona in 1975.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is the Compass Ghost Grey paint scheme.  This Eagle has big yellow stripes with black outline stripes on the wings and tail.

The fourth aircraft is a F-102A 55-436 with 509th FIS, 405th FW at Udorn AFB, Thailand in 1969.  This is the Wing Commanders aircraft.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is a South East Asia camo scheme (Green/Green/Brown) with the text "Miss Martha" on the nose.

The instructions are clear and include 3 views of each aircraft.  The decals are nicely printed on 1 decal sheet.  One thing I really appreciate about Wolfpak Decals is the way they include 2 pages of text telling about each aircraft and the history and story of that particular aircraft.  These text instructions also include helpful painting info on such things as the interior etc.

A very nice decal sheet with a variety of American jet fighters.
