--------------------

This new decal sheet from Stormo Decals includes markings for six different 1/48 Italian aircraft from WW2 in a good variety of paint schemes and all with some sort of artwork.

This decal sheet is designed to be used in conjunction with kit decals.

The 6 aircraft include 3 different types of aircraft in 6 different paint schemes.

  • Fiat Cr.42 flown by Tenente Luigi Torchio, 377a Squadriglia, Autonomo CT, Palermo in the February of 1943, credited with 5 individual and 2 shared victories.

  • Macchi C.200 flown by Sottotenente Giuseppe Biron, 369a Squadriglia, 22o Gruppo Autonomo CT, Krivoj-Rog, Soviet Union in February 1942, credited with 6 individual victories in the Soviet Union and 4 in the defense of the homeland.
  • Macchi C.200 flown by Maggiore Ettore Foschini, Gruppo Commander, 21o  Gruppo Autonomo CT, Stalino, Soviet Union in May September in 1942, credited with 7 individual (+ 1 Spain) victories.

The 2 pages of instructions are clear and include 1 colour view of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet by Cartograf.  There's no doubt about it.......the Italian aircraft during WW2 had a great variety of camo pattern and the camo pattersn on this decal sheet will look great on any model show table or in your display case, so this sheet is sure to be popular with Italian Aircraft modellers.  The pilots featured in this decal sheet were all Aces
