AOL users...please read....
|
As you've noticed.....AOL is
blocking a wide range of site in a scatter gun approach to block a certain
problem site....ARC has been blocked by AOL in this attempt. I've set
up a new domain name for the ARC Forums to
get the forums are back online for you. |
Go
to the ARC home page......click on the "Discussion"
link and all should be ok. |
If
it doesn't work....go to home page again and hold down your
"Ctrl" key while you push the "F5" key.
Then try the discussion link again. The Crtl and F5
trick totally refreshes what ever page you are looking at and
will load the new link so your computer doesn't load up
the old ARC banner with the old link from your computers
Temporary Internet files. |
Let me know if this doesn't
work. E-mail
link to Steve |
The
ARC forums link is http://www.arcforums.com/forums/index.php?s=5c1ccf131704ea58abef4e40c573798e |
I
will reset thousands of other links throughout the site as
soon as I can. |

Problems
with ARC Home Page and Discussion Forums |
- AOL users are
still having problems with accessing ARC through AOL.
Using Internet Explorer to access ARC seems to fix this
problem. I'll continue to check my end to see if there is
anything I can do.
- As most of you
noticed......I moved the ARC domain name, which caused the site
to go offline during the move. I'll put a redirection link
on the Home pages old location to get you all to this new
location until the change works it's way through the
Internet. This completes a site move that I began in April
2004.

Iwan
Winarta begins
today with his 1/72
Roden Albatros W.4 (early). I have a fascination with flat
planes and this model has got my interest up......I especially liked
the way the simulated wood grain turned out. Iwan describes his
wood grain technique in his article.

Laurent Boildieu
joins us today with
his 1/48
Hasegawa Ki-44. This particular fighter was used as a bomber
interceptor against the Allied bombers during WW2. The bare
metal finish and overall markings etc set this off as a very
attractive and well done model.
