This is his 1/72 XB-40 Bomber Escort Conversion with all the

eventually led to the B-17G and Ed did an excellent job on it.

has been very busy super detailing the
1/48 Hasegawa F-22A Raptor. This has a resin cockpit,
resin wheels, resin exhausts and further scratchbuilt detailing and
a very subtle weathering job. This is an exceptional
F-22. The F-22 looks good from any angle.

is here with a P-51 from one of my favorite Fighter Squadrons of
WW2. This is his 1/48 Tamiya P-51B Mustang in the
legendary paint schemes of the Blue Nosed Bast*rds squadron.

stripes, which just make this beauty look a little bit better.

Andrew Desautels
is here with the third model in his Wild Weasel series. This
is his 1/72 F-105G Wild Weasel with a resin cockpit and other
modifications to improve on the accuracy of his F-105G Wild Weasel.
Andrew finished it as a Vietnam War jet using decals from 2
different manufacturers including sharks mouth markings.
Andrew explains more of the Wild Weasel history for this jet as well
as the improved weapons load. I'm really enjoying his Wild Weasel
series.

has done an exceptional job on his 1/144 Skyline Models Boeing 737-400 Western Pacific Airlines “Spirit of Durango” Livery.

starts today with his 2nd Wild Weasel in his series of 5.
This is his 1/72 EF-105F Wild Weasel with many mods to make
it an accurate EF-105F Wild Weasel. Andrew also used the Pavla
resin cockpit to improve the cockpit detailing and added a weapons
load to show the true purpose of this jet. Andrew finished it
in a SEA camo scheme as seen in Vietnam with a nicely done
weathering job. I'm really am enjoying Andrew's Wild Weasel
series and it is interesting to read his background history on these Wild Weasel
jets.

hardware and aileron actuator brackets. The PD-62-8 pylons were

been very busy adding a huge amount of detail to his 1/48 Revell
P-47D "Me Darling".
El Rey used a
variety of aftermarket items to improve the level of detail on his
P-47 and then finished it with an expertly done bare metal finish
with great looking markings including nose art. This P-47
operated in the PTO during WW2. |

Hickey is here to mark the maiden flight of the Spitfire with
his 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Mk. VIII. Mike finished
his Spit in Aussie markings for an aircraft called Grey Nurse with
No. 457 Sqn in Moratai, Borneo in 1945. Beautiful paint work
and weathering completes Mikes Spitfire. |
