Orlando Arancibia R. is here with his beautifully done 1/50 Heller AS-350 B3 Chilean Army Orlando  scratchbuilt many many parts to make this an accurate Ecureuil V.I.P. from Chilean Army and his finished model shows complete realism.  My apologies for not getting this on ARC on Sept 18 for the Chilean Independence Day.

Chaz Nims joins us with his 1/48 Academy Mig 21 PF to keep the jet modelers happy today.  Chaz gives some very complete insight into building this kit as well as 2 excellent photos of the resin cockpit he painted up and added to his Mig-21.  Very nice Chaz.

Joe Youngerman is here with one of my favorite versions of the 109.  This is his 1/72 Tamiya Bf-109E-4.  Joe's 109 is a post BOB Bf-109 from France in 1940.  Joe added photo etch seat belts and finished his Emil with Eaglecal decals and a careful amount of weathering.  A very nice model indeed.

My heart goes our to the young unarmed Canadian soldier that died Guarding the Tomb of The Unknown soldier in Canada.  This soldier was killed in a cowardly attack by a nitwit.

Burt Gustafson is here with a very special and colorful Danish F-15.  This is Burt's 1/48 Eduard F-16AM wearing 60th anniversary artwork consisting of the Danish Flag and a Lion on the tail which is quite the eye catching set of markings.  This one is spectacular looking.

Chris Novak is here in style  today Chris would like you to enjoy his cutaway 1/32 Revell Bf-109 G4 converted to Bf-109F.  it takes a fair bit of extra effort to build a kit as a cutaway version.   Good job Chris on the 109....I love it.

Darius Aibara is here with a 1/48 Airfix RCAF/NATO Hawk CT-155.  I'm sure this Hawk in Canuck markings will please the Canadians that visit ARC.  Well done Darius.

Trafalgar Day - Royal Navy Anniversary

Mikhail Zelenin starts today with a flawless out of the box build of the 1/48 Hobby Boss Yak-38M Forger-A.  The Yak-38 was the only operational VTOL aircraft operated by the Soviet Navy and it is without a doubt a very unique aircraft that Mikhail captured very well with his model.  It's good to see his Yak-38 on ARC.

Robert-Jan Willekens has dropped by with his 1/48 Macchi Mc.202 Folgore.  Robert-Jan has provided some background on this aircraft as well as info about his model which is weathered.

Maxime Pidara is here in style with a fine example of a flying boat modal.  This is Maxime's first article on ARC.  Here is Maxime's 1/144 H6K Type 97 Transport Flying Boat (Mavis).  Welcome to ARC Maxime!!

Rodrigo AD starts today in style with his 1/48 Encore Cessna A-37B Dragonfly.  Rodrigo added aftermarket detail items to improve his Dragonfly and then finished it  with a weapons load for a El Salvador Air Force jet that fought in the war.  I love the look of this Dragonfly.

Parker Ewing joins us with his beautifully done 1/48 Tamiya Fw-190 D-13 ....it's a beaut that Parker spent plenty of effort adding detail items to get it looking just right.  I know you will enjoy every photo.

J.C. Bahr is here with his beautifully done 1/72 Academy B-24J.  The B-24 is often overlooked and seldom built.....at least seldom seen on ARC.....so it's good to have JC's example in the ARC Gallery.  He built this one to match a plane flown by a  veteran he knows.

Shawn phantom Weiler gets things started in style with his 1/48 Hasegawa CF-18 Hornet.  Shawn added a pilot and full weapons load and finished his Canadian Hornet in 421 squadron markings from the First Gulf War.  Shawn even gave his Gulf War Hornet just the perfect amount of weathering.

James Kelley is here to remember a true American hero with his 1/72 Hasegawa  F4F-3 Wildcat.  James includes some wonder life story history for the pilot of this plane that was credited with 11 kills during the dark days in the battle for Guadalcanal .  This model is exceptional and the article is quite fascinating to read and includes a photo of the pilot and the text of his Citation that accompanied his Medal of Honor presentation at the White House.

Ted Sachs Jr. is here today with his first article on ARC.  Ted would like to show you his 1/1 Scale F-16 Cockpit.  I've considered doing this sort of project myself.......and I'm glad Ted sent in pics of his cockpit.  Very cool indeed.  Ted might do up a more detailed article for ARC if you e-mail him and ask real nice.  It all depends on the feedback he gets.
