is credited to the Canadian pilot as well as an Australian gunner on
the ground with recent tests showing the Aussie gunner having a
stronger case.

No update today......I
spent all Wednesday going across the border in the US with a U-Haul
pick-up truck and car transporter trailer to officially "Export"
my newly acquired '73 Triumph GT6 from the US and "Import" it
into Canada. I'm pleased to say the whole day went perfectly and by
7pm I went to bed and slept 12 hours straight.....which I haven't done in
a very long time (years?). It is good to finally have the car home
in my garage. I'll get some pictures of the poor little thing and
post them on ARC as soon as the rain stops.

Tunisia National Day |
|
It's 10pm Thursday
night. I've just returned from a very long 5 day 2,200 mile
(3,600km) car trip to San Francisco with my 11 year old daughter.
the trip was to close the deal on a 1973 Triumph GT6 that I bought while
she was out from school on spring break. Although it is a tired 34
year old car.....it is mostly rust free and surprisingly original and will
make a good restoration project for us in the future. My daughter
and I plan to use it for attending local British car shows. I've
dreamed of owning a GT6 for 30 years......odd I never bought one
considering how cheap un-restored examples are.
Sadly my internet
connection at the various motels was non-existent most nights. The
last attempt at uploading an update only erased the home page before the
connection permanently crashed without permitting me to upload a new
homepage. My apologies for the confusion this must have caused
everyone.
I'll upload an update
for Friday. The trip was a riot.....but it's good to be home.

Alan Williamson has

it for Michel. Michel also did a bit of scratchbuilding to add
to the somewhat limited detail on this classic kit......with very
pleasing results.

has done
the almost impossible. He took the
1/48 Kitech-Zhengdefu F-111A

start with.

Dan McWilliams
has created a wonderful
1/18 CF-18 Hornet
for 425 Squadron in Bagotville, Quebec. This was originally one
of those big "toy" F-18's and Dan transformed it into a
CF-18 complete with Canadian markings. It's now proudly
displayed for the pilots to enjoy.

Serge Dompierre has done an
exceptionally nice job building and finishing his 1/48 Revell
Me-410 B2/U4.
Serge built this one out of the box and then dressed it up with some
extra care during the painting process.

Guilherme Kosciuv
joins us with
a well done 1/72 Heller Mirage IIIE.
This Mirage IIIE is in Brazilian markings and includes a story that
connects it to the Falklands war. Well done!!

I'm pleased to report the
gallery section rebuild is complete. This was a massive job
requiring much work to each individual article....one by one over many
many months. There are a few dead links that I will be fixing
over the next few days. All the gallery archiving is also complete
and up to date.

Helder "Luft46" Millani
is here with a very futuristic looking Luft46 aircraft. This
is the 1/48 Focke Wulf Fw-190 V19 Special.
I enjoy the designs of the Luft46 aircraft and I found this
particular aircraft to look very plausible. Helder did an
excellent job on this one.....I'm very impressed how well it looks.

Andy Harsanto
has been
busy enjoying adding detail and a beautifully done paint job to his
fine looking 1/48
Hobby Boss Rafale B.
Andy describes this kit very well and tells how he created his
in-flight Rafale. Check out his very realistic in-flight
photos. This is Andy's first article on ARC and I hope to see
more of his models on ARC in the future. welcome to ARC
Andy!!!
